As you can see we have basically scrapped the original idea as we found it difficult to improve on it so we decided that while we shoot our film we will take pictures of the antagonist in different locations. We decided that the location would be a forestry area so that it shares more similarities with our film trailer as it will share the same setting with it, A forest is also conventional with the horror genre as it can create fear because of how isolated from humanity a forest can be. The next most notable thing that we have done is decide to show the full costume of the villain to make him look more powerful and ominous. Like our previous draft we have asked members of our target audience what they have fought of it:
'The ideas are good and I like it. But the camera should be behind the villain more instead of a high angle.- Owen
'It's spooky. The font for the one with the trees is too poppy and would benefit from being creepier.' - Josh
'The posters perspective draws the eyes towards the character which was a smart choice, however, it's difficult to know what the character is doing and he needs to be closer because he looks too short.' - Mr Vardy
'I like the poster as it tells more of the story that it should. Good drawing.' - Tamzin
This feedback is much more positive than our last draft with many aspects of the poster (setting, design, etc) being praised for the spooky atmosphere that it creates. We still received negative feedback such as trying to use a more horror styled font but the most given feedback was to bring the camera closer to the villain as many thought that it would be to far away.
